Conceived, composed, recorded and mixed November 2-16, 2014.

The challenge was to have a mic running for a few hours and come up with ten or more loose structured songs and record each one with no more than three takes. This also meant that any "mistakes" that could not be rectified within three takes had to be left in (including a few self-inflating remarks into the mic and even a sneeze). In my ears, this gave the album a much more natural and organic feel than it would have otherwise had if I tried to perfect everything. It was also an exercise in patience and restraint, as I'm always my biggest critic.

Jams and composition were inspired by Porcupine Tree, Jon Gomm, Buckethead, California Guitar Trio and Oceansize.

Tracks 2, 12, 13 and 14 are based on riffs that I had written in the past, the rest were improvised.
